What to do in Covid-19 Lockdown? Amid the coronavirus lockdown, we have found ourselves in an unlikely spot. All the dreams and aspirations that we have kept on hold, all the time we had spent declining phone calls from family and friends under the pretext of being busy, all the time you have spent away from home telling yourself that it is the byproduct of your achievements, has come to an unprecedented hold. The Covid-19 crisis along with its sadness has brought most of us a newfound pain, the pain of having the time and not knowing what to do with it. Confused you toil around your bed, watch Netflix, talk over the phone or keep browsing the net for newfound stats on the number of cases. Within all this aimless buzz there is still a sense of void, the phone or TV that were previously the only source of solace to escape the chatter of office politics or social conversations seems redundant and unsatisfying. CAP IIM Interview

CAP IIMs Interview The Common Admission Process (CAP) is conducted for most of the New and Baby IIMs. The cutoff for this process hovers around the 95 %ile zones. With around 9 participating colleges, CAP provides a significant chance to get associated with the IIM Brand. Some of the top IIMs under CAP include IIM Ranchi, IIM Udaipur, IIM Trichy, etc. Any CAT aspirant must aim to appear for the CAP interview process. IIFT Interview

Indian Institute of Foreign Trade Interview (FEB 2020) About: IIFT is one of the top B-Schools in the country and the only in profiles of Trade and International Business. The B-School is generally on the list of most aspired B-Schools in the country. The  location at the heart of Delhi and its niche program makes it a much-aspired college. The admission to IIFT happens through a separate IIFT Entrance Exam. The process at IIFT was organized at the IIFT Delhi campus.  The process is coordinated by the Profs. It starts with WAT followed by GD (with 18 people!) and then PI. WAT Topic: “For the powerful crimes are what others commit” (20 min) GD (2 Panelists, 18 students) Topic: “Will AI replace Humans?” The GD process was one of chaos as there were 18 participants. Trying to be heard in this chaos would be a major challenge for people who generally speak less. NMIMS Interview

NMIMS Interview (Feb 2020) About: NMIMS is one of the top 20 B-Schools in India situated in the heart of Mumbai. The admissions to this college happen through the NMAT exam which is conducted by GMAC, the same company that conducts GMAT. Specialty: NMAT can be given up to 3 times within the test window. Therefore, if after the exam you feel you could have performed better you have the opportunity to prove yourself (Caution: Each retake costs separately). Also, it is one of the few exams with No Negative Marking.   Candidate Profile: NMAT 211 (cutoff is just based in the NMAT score which carries 70% weight in final merit list) The NMIMS interview happened on 1st Feb 2020. MDI Gurgaon Interview (Feb 2020)   About: MDI is one of the top 15 Business Schools in India. The strategic location (Gurugram) coupled with excellent faculty and alumni base provides students with ample opportunities. All CAT aspirants must aim for this institute. The institute shortlists based just on the CAT score, hence, engineers who might face trouble getting through the interview calls at various IIMs due to various diversity criteria will get an opportunity to present themselves at MDI.   The process at MDI is organized by Professors. SCMHRD Interview (Feb 2020)   About: SCMHRD is one of the highly recommended business schools in India. Situated in the midst of the IT park in Hinjewadi Pune. The admission to SCMHRD happens through the SNAP Test. It is the second most recommended college through SNAP Test. The interview happened on 7th Feb 2020 The process consists of 2xWAT topics (time 30mins total), 2xGE and PI rounds (hence quite an elaborate process) Profile: 99.13 SNAP, GEM (Weightage 50% SNAP Test, 50% GEPIWAT) Process Summary: WAT topic: Famous personality quote given “Tax all companies and homes to incentivize the reduction of carbon footprint” (Write for/against) WAT 2: Two Images provided side by side and asked to make a theme and write on it. GE 1 (7 people) : A small case provided on increased indebtedness of millennials and asked to discuss the reasons for the same. Anyone can start and speak. SIBM Pune Interview

SIBM Pune Interview (Feb 2020) About: SIBM Pune is the flagship institute under Symbiosis International University. The institute is ranked amongst the top 20 Business Schools in the country. With Average packages touching 20L it is surely B-School students aspire for. The admission to its MBA program happens through the SNAP Test. Candidate: GEM (Civil Engineer) SNAP: 99.13 (50% weightage of SNAP Score, 50% WATGEPI) Interview Process date 8th Feb 2020 Lavale Campus Great campus on the hilltop is a must-see. The process consisted of WAT followed by Group Exercise (GE) and PI. Process Summary: WAT (2 Panelists, Male): 12mins, 5 GK questions, 1 WAT topic (100 Words) “Insolvency in the airline industry: Jet Airways a lesson!” GE (Same 2 Panelists as above): The same group of 8, 2 different pictures was shown to each of the 8 students and everyone was given 2 mins to think of one of the images and describe their choice for 45 secs. This was followed by a
